What Reddit Links Can RDSave Process?
RDSave is designed for publicly accessible Reddit posts containing video. Simply copy the Reddit post URL using Reddit's Share option and paste it into the downloader. Download availability depends on the media attached to the original post and whether Reddit makes that media publicly accessible.
A download option may not be available when:
- The Reddit post has been deleted;
- The post is private or otherwise inaccessible;
- The video is no longer available;
- The URL does not contain downloadable video media;
- The post embeds media hosted by an unsupported external service.
If a Reddit link does not work, first open the post normally and confirm that the video is still publicly accessible.
Why Does a Downloaded Reddit Video Have No Sound?
Reddit can deliver video and audio separately instead of storing them as one traditional video file. This means manually saving the visible video stream may result in an MP4 that plays correctly but has no sound.
RDSave handles the available streams for you and combines video with its corresponding audio when the original Reddit media contains an audio track.
Some Reddit videos genuinely have no audio in the original upload. In those cases, a downloader cannot add sound that was never present.
