Terms of Service

Last updated: August 28, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RDSave. By accessing or using RDSave, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the service.

1. Description of the Service

RDSave is an independent web-based technical utility that processes user-submitted URLs pointing to publicly accessible Reddit media. Depending on the media available from the source, RDSave may provide functionality relating to:

  • Reddit videos;
  • available audio;
  • images;
  • image galleries;
  • GIF-style or looping media.

RDSave does not grant ownership of, or a licence to use, third-party content. RDSave is not a substitute for obtaining authorization from a copyright owner or complying with restrictions imposed by the content provider.

2. Public and Authorized Content Only

RDSave is intended only for content that is publicly accessible, which you are lawfully permitted to access, and lawfully permitted to download or process for your intended purpose.

You are responsible for determining whether downloading, copying, storing, sharing, modifying or otherwise using any content is permitted. The fact that content can be viewed publicly does not necessarily mean you have permission to download, reproduce, redistribute or commercially use it. RDSave does not make that legal determination for you.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the URLs you submit, the content you choose to process, determining whether you have permission to download that content, how you use files obtained through RDSave, and complying with applicable copyright, privacy, platform terms, and local laws.

By using RDSave, you represent that your use of the service is lawful and authorized. RDSave does not verify the ownership, copyright status, licence terms or lawful-use rights of every piece of media submitted by users.

4. No Circumvention or Unauthorized Access

You must not use RDSave to bypass passwords or authentication requirements, access private or restricted content without authorization, circumvent paywalls, defeat digital rights management (DRM), or bypass encryption and technological protection measures.

RDSave is intended to process supported publicly accessible media, not to defeat privacy, security or copyright controls. We may block or refuse to process URLs or media when necessary to enforce these restrictions.

5. Copyright and Intellectual Property

RDSave does not claim ownership of Reddit posts or third-party media processed through the service. All rights in third-party content remain with their respective owners.

Using RDSave does not give you permission to republish, distribute, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from copyrighted media unless you have explicit permission or another lawful basis to do so.

6. Copyright Complaints

RDSave respects intellectual-property rights. If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe RDSave is being used in connection with infringement of your rights, you may contact us through our Contact page.

We review legitimate notices and take measures reasonably available to us, including restricting the processing of particular URLs or media.

7. Prohibited Uses

You must not use RDSave for unlawful activity, copyright infringement, distributing malware, attacking infrastructure, evading rate limits, abusive automated scraping, or falsely representing RDSave as affiliated with Reddit Inc. We reserve the right to restrict or block access where abuse is detected.

8. No Account or Ownership Verification

RDSave generally does not require an account to use its public tools. Because we do not require users to prove ownership of every URL they submit, RDSave cannot determine whether an individual user has the legal right to use a particular piece of media. That responsibility remains with the user.

9. Source Availability and Output

RDSave can only process media that is technically available and supported at the time of the request. We do not guarantee that every Reddit URL will work, that every post remains available, or that silent videos can be converted to have sound if no audio track exists in the source.

10. Third-Party Platforms

RDSave relies on publicly accessible information provided through third-party platforms such as Reddit. Those platforms are independent of RDSave and may change their access policies, URLs, or availability at any time.

11. No Affiliation With Reddit

RDSave is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Reddit, Inc. Reddit, its logos, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. References to Reddit are descriptive only.

12. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Advertisements displayed on RDSave may be provided by independent advertising partners. Interactions with third-party advertisers or websites are strictly between you and the relevant third party.

13. Service Availability

RDSave is provided on an "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RDSave is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind regarding reliability, availability, or suitability for a specific purpose.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RDSave and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service.

16. Responsibility for Claims Resulting From Your Use

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for any claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your unlawful use of RDSave or your violation of third-party rights.

17. Privacy

Your use of RDSave is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

18. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected abuse and take appropriate protective measures, including rate limiting, URL blocking, or cooperating with legal inquiries.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will be published on this page with the updated revision date.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
